It's been so warm here that the snow is almost gone and I noticed the bare spots on my lawn are now green! This is very unusual, and Texas is snowing!

Go figure!

So far, it is following right along, as predicted. We are having light but continuous snow right now with about 2 in accumulation....and soon it is supposed to start snowing harder with more wind and about 4 more inches...and then, tonight, 6 more inches possible with drifting snow. Sounds like a BLIZZARD to me..

Hi there, Neighbor Cherokee.. did I ever tell you that I have a Dash of Cherokee blood? Maybe we're Sistahs..

Here in Utah we never close the schools when given a heavy winter storm warning...they let them go to school and then have to keep them over night because of they don't want to miss a day and have to make it up in June...this really happened a few weeks ago!!

Same here Sal

It's been snowing all morning and the storm storm wasn't expect until this afternoon. I learned in Colo that a blizzard has to do with wind speed. It's got to be 35 mph sustained to be a blizzard.

I survived the holiday ones that hit Denver in 06-07 and I don't want to see snow like that ever again.

I'm staying inside and may even treat myself to some hot cocoa today, after I nap.

Brrrrrrr ....

Ours is on the way too, Sappy. You and Bappy can have the worst of it as far as I am concerned, we've had more than our share here! I say, "enough already!"

We got a couple of more inches today. It's melting quickly.

Nothing like what they said we were going to get. Thank goodness.

I have a brother in your neck of the woods, and we generally get your weather a day later.

I don't know if it'll be a foot or not, but I feel something coming in.

Hope you're all prepared. My cable will probably go out so if you don't hear form me, it's okay.
