Default Saying Goodbye

I hope everyone remembers that I shared with everyone the fact that I was seeing a new doctor that specializes in the immune system.

Well, we looked at my records and realized that I had never been tested for Lyme disease.

So, she included this test in with the round of tests she ordered and it came back positive.

Looks like I was misdiagnosed.

I start my oral antibiotics today and will follow up with IV antibiotics next month.

So, I bid everyone farewell. I will probaby check in and see how everyone is doing from time to time because this is truly one of the most incredible groups I have ever come across in my life. The support and encouragment you provide to fellow board members is incredible. In some ways I'm sad that I no longer have a connection to this group of people any longer. However, I do hope that I was able to provide encouragment in return during the time I was a member on the board.

Good luck to everyone fighting this disease and God Speed.

Gigi, I have tears in my eyes...what a blessing this is! I will miss you hanging out with us, but I am so happy for you that your disease is CURABLE!!!

Oh, Gigi, you are so blessed. I know you must have grabbed that doctor and hugged her/him to pieces!

Peace.

Your a part of us and I hope you'll consider staying, if only to chat with us. You have been a great source of encouragement and I for one hope you stay and continue to do so. I know Lyme disease isn't an easy path either and I wish you the best.

Hugs,
Sandy

I cried and cried and cried. Not only for the good news, but because the news came on the 6 month anniversary of mom's death. It was so ironic that I found out on that day!

Thanks Bird! Love ya girl (I mean bird)
