Default Reality show addicts thread

I lost the other one! I can't find it. Plus I wanted to show off my avator. I finally figured out how to get a picture in there. I will probably change it as my mood lets me.

I think I am finally caught up with my shows. I DVRd Design Star, Farmer wants a wife and She's got the look. I don't agree with the final 2 on Farmer wants a wife but it's his choice not mine. I was really rooting for Amanda. She was just such a sweetheart. I think fate intended for it to be Christa and Brooke. Or maybe it was just purposefull editing. But those two have been at war ever since they laid eyes on that man.

I'm not sure if She's got the look deserves to go to a second season. I think they ruined it for me on the very first challenge they had to be 'nude'. I know the season is short but last week they put them on the runway. It was only the third episode. I felt sorry for the ones who had no experience at all.

I like Design star being in Nashville. They were in beautiful old home with fairly identical rooms and broke up in 4 groups of 2 and they all took a room. I guess the one thing that impressed me most of what all the designers did was when the one toook an old plate of some sort and made a planter out of it. One contestant is being edited to be one that makes a lot of trouble. I'm not sure she is that way at all but I don't like her. One of them thinks she has to paint everything whether it is a beautiful antique or a vase.

Nashville Star was on last night. There are several contestants I think are weak. The two young girls, I think it's becuase of lack of maturity, the big tall guy-I don't like the wavering in his voice. Wow, who made me an expert!!! I just now learned how to put a picture on the internet!
I did approve of who was sent home. I think he was getting by with the pretty boy vote. And he was good looking!

I'm really likeing the acts put through to Las Vegas on Americas got talent. Only one I haven't cared for so far is the one who creates friction and sparks on her metal vest. And what else can you say but Elvis is back in the house!!!!!!! I liked what Piers observed that most Elvis impersonators tried to be an older more mature Elvis. This guy was the young Elvis. And he was GOOD. Sharon just melted like butter when she watched him.

SYTYCD is on tomorrow night. And ABC started several shows tonight and I DVRd all of them. If I can't sleep I'll get up and watch one.

I think Big Brother starts back up in a couple of weeks.

Hey Doyd~ I haven't been watching much reality lately, but I love Nashville Star. Your'e right, the one that went home was gorgeous, but he just couldn't cut it.

Those girl groups are pretty good, young~ but aren't they all lately? Oh no! BB is starting again? I love that show and now have to start planning my TV again. I've kind of liked not having alot of shows to watch, as it was pretty frantic when they were all on at the same time on the same night.

I need a life!!

I am right there with ya on some of them. I don't watch Design star or any of the makeover shows but love HGTV and almost any of their shows.

Nashville Star I am having a tough time getting into this season. I do agree that the young girls need more time in front of their mirror with a hairbrush.

I also love to watch Hell's Kitchen, I am rooting for Christina but Petrosa can also win, I loke them both.

the Mole has my attention this year for the first time and I am liking it. I could never do any of the challenges even pre-MS.

Can''t wait for the Baby Borrowers. I don't watch SYTYCD either.

Big Brother in July, hopefully they don't only have the models but real people like they do some years.

Oops, thanks Frank, I forgot that I watch He77's Kitchen, too.

Now Doyd~ You're going to have to update me on Nashville Star, as I'll miss it while at DD's next wk. She watches' H' K, so we'll either watch it or tape it.

The thread that you started a long time ago is

New and Improved Reality Show Addicts.

You can't loose that thread. There is to much history on it.

It's ok to start a new thread, Jappy. We won't lose the old one.....actually, there are two old ones!!

I missed everything, so far, this week. Oh Well...thanks, all, for bringing me up to date.

I've been a little out of it, but will try to watch SYTYCD tonight. My TV went out, in the storm, today, so I'm watching on my little portable, for now...

Counting my blessings, that I have a little portable to watch..

Tonight I watched SYTYCD. I can't remeber which couple was doing a contemporary dance. I thought they had done , not terrible but just bad. But the judges all seemed to think they did OK. Well, I'm no expert at all. I don't even know how to do any kind of dance move in the privacy of my home. I just know I didn't see any beauty in what they did. That was some mohawk that guest choreographer had!!! We'' see who does solos tomorrow night. I enjoy watching them but I'm sure it's nerve wracking for them.

I DVRd Farmer wants a wife so I could watch it while I was DVRing She's got the look. Have I mentioned I love my DVR!!!!! I don't know what I'll do when the price gaurantee is up in 2010. I was rooting for Brooke and that's the name on the crop dusting banner!!!! Poor Christa, she really thought that by going out to buy condoms that it would get her man. Plus she sure has a potty mouth. I'm sure she would not be allowed to live in Australia! I know that FWAW was on a little known network but I hope somehow they let the public know whether or not they do get married.

So tomorrow I will try to get time to watch She's got the look. I was surprised to see them on NBCs morning show today.

My favorite reality show is coming up in August. The summer Olympics!!!! Well the winter ones are my favorite also. I'm looking forward to NBC showing us the city and country also.

Oh, I taped some new shows that were on last night on ABC and watched today. I do't think they will last long. One was 'Wipe-out' and the other something about I was on a Japanese game show. the obstacle courses on wipe-out were grueling.

Another show I taped and watched was another segment of '30 days'. I think that show is something that is needed to help people see the other side of the picture. This one was about a traditional wife who opposed to same sex marriages and them having children and she lived with a gay married couple and their 4 adopted previous foster kids. Next week it's about a woman who abhors guns becuase one of her friends was killed by one and she lives with a family that hunts and has guns in the house with children. Anyway, the episode I watched today, the Mom had to go to talk to foster kids who were never adopted and had to stay in the foster program until they were 18, and was forced to see the other side. She eventually saw that even though she still didn't approve of their lifestyle, she was wrong in condemming them as people.
