Default Yeah, so I haven't been around a lot, but....

I'm going to be a grandma (again). And my kid and his fiancee just found out that it's a girl. So that'll be 2 girls and one boy grandkiddo for me.

Plus, my kid's getting married in the middle of August. Life's been busy.

Oh... my MIL died.

And a cousin died.

I've not been on the computer a lot outside of work.

And my cat has mats and they're too close to the skin for me to cut them off with scissors. He's a semi-longhaired cat and has a really thick undercoat. I try to brush him regularly, but he still gets the blooming mats!

Been gardening.

Been taking care of my yard and sorting and organizing my house after my move last year. Finishing up the loose ends.

Oh, and I've been fighting with Hopkins until I got a "treating" neuro. Whee! It only took me 7 months of trying.....

And I've been looking for my stupid ice cream spoon........ but I can't seem to find it and think someone with sticky fingers swiped it. I've got a suspect in mind, too.

Yep, that's enough I guess.

Hiya everyone!

1st, sorry about all those people passing away around you. (backing away from Hairy Scary Chicken person)

2nd, congrats on all those grand kids! How fun! You are old enough to have them huh? (thinking Chicken was much younger)

3rd, who are you? (can't seem to recall...)

Finally, FG....she has icecream spoons. I just know it. (always quick to blame FG, well, just because.)

Well, Chicken Girl, it is about high time you popped back in and let us know if you were still kicking.

Thank ya kindly, Sassy. I'm sort of excited. It really hasn't hit yet as I had a 3d grandbaby scare once already and panicked because I didn't feel old enough to have 3 of them. So I guess it'll really come up and whack me on the head when she arrives.

Taffy..... I know what's going on behind that not so innocent face of yours....
Blamin' FG. Did you slip something in her suitcase? Betchya did. No wonder she's eating stuff again. SHE has utensils! <said Gazelle with her feet up sippin' a nice cold Pepsi from a chilled mug>

Nah....I'm gonna let my son's fiancee and my daughter have the grandkids. I'll just keep 'em after they're born! It works out better that way--no pain, can take 'em after they're potty trained and sleeping through the night, and can give 'em back if they cry.

Yep, kicking, picking on people, and messing with FG's ego. Life is very, very good. Except for a lack of ice cream.

CAYO!!!!!!!!!! Hey wonder woman, how ya doin'? Meet any nice Fer de Lances recently?

This many events has been fun. The cousin's earth planting ceremony was on the same day as the fork over the gifts to the impending bride ceremony. So I got to travel for 5.5 hours over a number of different states to attend both ceremonial events. D'ya think they minded me coming to the earth planting ceremony in shorts and a tank top? Geez, I hope not. It would have been weird going to a fork over the gifts to the impending bride ceremony in a dark suit (as I refuse to wear a dress to an earth planting ceremony).

I see Koala77 is now a mod. My oh my..... they let anyone play that game, don't they?

Missed all of you guys.

been lucky in that regard... the tommygoff is one SCARY critter.

but we did finally eliminate the evil Jaguarundi that's been predating on our ducks and chickens.

the wildcat made the fool-move of tryin' to haul off one of mah GOOSES, and thus garnered a close encounter with my builder's wicked-sharp machete.

Gwynny is now all recovered from the ordeal, and her neck injuries healed.

now, tell us more about what YOU been up to girlfriend ?!?!

It's my spoon, blind in one eye and can't see outta the udder. Just cuz your utensil of choice happens to be a pitchfork doesn't mean I'm
