Yeah I'm calling the office tomorrow. I am definetely not a morning person. My night usually ends up around 1 AM and the day starts at 10 or 11 AM. So getting up tomorrow at 7 is not good for me. I remember not so fondly what I was like a month ago when this scam artist did his job on us and I got up every monring to wait for him and he not show up. I just hope this compnay is on time enough and I feel I can leave the house while they are here. So i will have plenty of time to call the office.

Plus since our state has early voting I am going to our local library along with my sister to vote. Tomorrow is pretty much her last day she will feel like voting for a while.

Doydie, I hope you get some answers.... what that nurse did was totally unappropriate!

I hope you get the answere Monday. I never heard of a nurse
giving out information like that, especially over the phone.

Maybe she was reading the wrong report. Will pray she was.
The dr should have told you what was really wrong when he came and
sat on your bed.

Doydie, I am praying what he meant was that you were negative for any kind of spreading or something like that. Encapsulated is a good thing so maybe they felt they got it all before it had reached a stage of concern? Either way, he should have told you and I pray he didn't read the wrong chart.

doydie,

doesn't sound like your dr was being honest with you.
i'd be pretty ****** off about that.
you're right to demand the truth. how else can you plan YOUR care.

i pray it's contained and noninvasive like mine was.
good luck.

I called the office today. I had already done some internet research to determine the different stages of endometrial cancer. Cancer cells in the endometrium alone and encapsulated is stage 1. Any further down into the uterus is 2,3,4,etc. Mine is 1. I am still anxious to talk to my doctor about it but am willing to wait until the 6 weeks check up.

Sorry, Doyd, I've been away for awhile so I'm trying to catch up on things. I agree with the others, I hope you'll have a chance to speak personally with the doctor. No nurse has ever told me anything by phone, she may have overstepped her boundaries and your doc should know about this.

It's hard to imagine a doctor snowing you in this day and age of recreational lawsuits; you really need to hear his side of this story.

I sure hope your family room will come together perfectly and quickly, you deserve it.

I agree with Cindy, that information should never have been given over the phone by anyone. Call the doctor and request him to call you back personally. He should be able to straighten this all out. That nurse should never have disclosed something like that over the phone. That could have been anyone calling. No matter what, I pray it's nothing to be worried over.
