Taffy! OMG! I saw all that flooding on the news and thought about you and Dad. If you want to pack up and come over here, you are welcome. I got room. been listening to a friend of mine bitterly describing the unprecedented snowfalls in Spokane, telling me of the dangerous roads, collapsed roofs and serious cabin fever... she couldn't even get to work, or stores.

but I'd forgotten what happens AFTERwards... all that snow's got to melt.

just now catching up on the news, and it's AWFUL, Taffy:

sorry that floods are headed your way, sending prayers winging their way heaven-wards.

last November we endured nasty flooding, left us cut off from the world for days, and spread deadly diseases,, (Black Leg sickening local cattle, and Newcastle killing tens of thousands of chickens)

the flooding also destroyed our village water infrastructure, there was no piped water for three weeks, wiped out bridges, roads, and homes.

with all that fresh in my mind, praying REALLY hard for everyone in Washington, that people are spared.
