I have been watching American Idol however because we live in the UK, it has only just started and they are only just going to be starting 'Boot Camp' next week so we haven't gotten to see David yet. They always seem to put American shows on the TV so much later over here and it is so annoying at times!!
I'm so sad to hear that they sent David Osmond home. I don't think we have got to see him at the moment but it sounded as though he was really good and had a good voice and I think he deserves a lot of credit for trying to persue his dreams despit the MS - not many people do that and he's an inspiration to me!!!

If he's really good and he's meant to sing, he'll sing ....regardless of how far he went on the show. There are past winners we never hear from any more and people who didn't make it to the end but are making it in the business. And of course the show has always been more than just a singing contest; it's always been at least partially a popularity contest and a test to see who connects with the phone dialing public.
