We have so few rain days.

But this is a wet week! I go outside just to see the sky and keep the windows open to hear the rain.

Ooooh that nice warm feeling when you walk outside or open the
windows.

Yesterday it reached 61

Today at this moment it is 59

Opened the sliding doors and Sage went outside and just sat in
the sun taking it all in.

Just still some small patches of snow left. The contractors were
working on the addition. Now I can see the dream of this addition starting.

no robins yet

We hit 55 today and it melted the last bit of snow and ice

I went outside in my yard and dreamed of Spring. I sloshed around in the mud and it felt so good. I can't wait to get out there and get my hands all dirty. Nothing like a little dirt to wash away the winter blues

(inside joke but I couldn't resist)

Yep, sun is out, all the snow is melted. Only sign left of the big storm is all the limbs still down in the yard. I tried to go out and take some and put them curbside for pick up and the mud was so thick it made me exhausted to walk in it. My son in law is still going to take some but what is left we have to break up into pieces no longer than 4 ft so it can be taken by trash man. I'm just glad that the city nade the contract with trash men to do this. Most nearby cities you have to take them somewhere.

Now I just have to deal with my neighbor who says my tree caused a whole in her roof. Our insurance isn;t paying for what fell in her yard. Besides that, with all the trees down how could she tell it was our tree and not hers. They didn't take a picture of it and she didn't tell me ubntil after she had all her limbs removed. I can't help it if she has $1000 deductable and we have $250! What we will do is offer to help pay her decuctable. I went to the store today to price all my groceries I lost from my frig/freezer. I figure it's about $75.
