It went from zero to 45 in 2 days, just like that Vega my Mom used to have.

Doydie - don't offer them anything. Tell them to prove it was your tree. Offering to pay is the same as admitting you know it was your fault, and they could go after you for more than the deductible.

Our forecast is for the high 60's (even 70's in some southern spots) and sunny. We're supposed to get thunderstorms on Wednesday, though.

I'm not fooled by this cruel trick, though. We'll get frigid temps again before Easter. I'm willing to bet we even get some "winter precip" at some point, too! At least 2 inches of it!!

Brain!! My best friend drove one of those things in high school!! A robin's egg blue one with NO power steering!!

LOL My old bf had a purple vega. We called it the purple people eater because it had holes in the back floorboards. It was a great way to ditch the beer when we saw cops. hahahaha!

The sun is shining here and attempting to blind us. Tomorrow is going to be so warm Jim and I are heading out to get a piece of it!

Just looked at the thermometer it is 60 degrees at this time

The contractors are working

The noise of the saws, drills, hammers, are music to my ears.

I feel like a kid waiting for christmas. Bigger kitchen and utility room.

Here it comes! Here it comes! He's coming just over the horizon and the critters are belting out a mighty chorus of cacophony to greet the day.

We're going for a record high of 60° here today and I'm seriously psyched!

LOL, Jappy, doesn't that belong in the "know you're getting old" thread?
