and we have bought more Volvo's for the kids all 82's -84's and most are turbos and 3 are turbo diesels.
Lol, I've had quite a few Volvos also. Loved them until about 1999 when they started getting too fancy for my taste. All those electrical gagets are expensive and frustrating to fix. I'm now a Subaru gal and love it.

I've had, sorry can't remember all the years:

Chevy Vega, urrgh
Fierro GT
Nissan Sentra X2
Volvo 740 wagon, its an '89 and looking ugly but running strong
Volvo 240DL
Volvo S70
Subaru Forrester, love this car!

I forgot to add my bikes to my list.

In 1999 I bought a 1993 Harley Sportster 883 bored out to a 1200, it had a 24 inch wire front wheel, fat bob tank, screaming eagle pipes, did NOT look like a sporty.

in 2000 I bought a 1996 Harley Dyna glide convertible (the convertible means you could remove the windshield and saddle-bags) This was a big twin and I loved that bike. DEW made me sell both to buy our first house. Grrr

For that matter, I also owned a Coleman pop-up camper trailer, and a 25 foot Bayliner cuddy cabin speed boat at one point in time.

Ohh you reminded me of the old Novas with craeger (sp?) wheels! In high school I wanted one so bad or even just a boyfriend that had one, lol.

Ooo! Was your Torino red, with a white stripe on it? (like Starsky's car on Starsky & Hutch? I loved that show)

I trained in my daddy's 1975 Ford F150 supercab with extended bed! Shocked the state trooper that did my driving exam... I was all of 100 lbs at 17 and he didn't think I could handle that big ol truck.

1979 Chevy Chevette..olive green
1973 Mercury Comet...DH's old car
1981 Datsun 210..my first stick shift
1985 Pontiac 6000
1991 Nissan NX...still own
1993 Ford Explorer...still own
2006 Honda Civic... that got the tar beat out of it yesterday in a hail storm!
