I agree, not the job for you. It's not in the plan laid out for you, my friend. I know that doesn't help. Something will come. Keep your chin up.

I bought the paper today - it is so discouraging no jobs even in that. Gosh I remember when there used to be 5 - 6 pages and now there is only a half page. VERY scary.

Does anyone have a good market for jobs? I might be temped to move!

Hang in there, Lambchop! Don't forget that many papers are closing down their hard copy divisions in favor of strictly online format nowadays. Add to that, there are so many job sites now that offer a longer run for a ton less money.

That goes for almost all classifieds anymore, auto sales, garage sales, grocery coupons... everything that was once available only via the paper is available one thousand fold online.

The right one will come along at the right time. Just think about how you "found" the new apartment! Hope is out there and you're going to be great!!!

Iowa appears to be one of the only states that has not been losing jobs. You may want to check it out.

I know they are competing heavily with AZ for solar companies. Can you imagine how backward AZ has to be? Iowa is giving companies a good tax break.

What a shame they've finally decided upon the person for that "dream job" on that island in the Whitsunday Island group, on the Great Barrier Reef in Australian. $100,000 for 6 months lolling on the beach, learning to scuba dive, swimming, sipping cocktails, etc. would have least given you time to stop and watch the world go by for a little while.

Oh well, I'll put a good word in for you if anything similar comes up again.
