Default Michael J....Fibromyalgia????

Well, well, well.......that would go along with the lupus, but will we ever really know? It would certainly explain the insomnia and narcotics for pain. As I've mentioned many times here, there's no way I can go to sleep at a "normal" time -- 2:30 am now -- for me 6 to 7 am is better and then I only sleep a little at a time since the pain usually wakes me up....grrrrrrr! A regular, full night's sleep sounds like a dream.

And then the pain.......it never goes away 24/7. Analgesics and anti-convulsants help take the edge off, but it's never gone. Like the MS pain, we're all looking for some relief. It will be interesting following the investigation!

Maybe someday, all of these unknown causes, treatments, cures will be history....

Judy, my sleep patterns have changed dramatically, too. Not because of pain....I really don't know why they've changed so much. Menopause, possibly? Haven't gone there yet but I'm hoping it'll get here soon!

I tend to sleep in 4 hour increments. Usually less, but no more than. If I don't get enough sleep at night then I'll take a nap during the day. Not always but I can if I need to. Sort of like a newborn!

I just don't get stressed about it anymore. If I'm wide awake at 2 AM then I get up. When I get sleepy I go back to sleep. I guess the fact that I don't have to be anywhere at any certain time each morning helps. If I did I'd be in big trouble!

I read that MJ spent $48 thousand a month on medications. Someone's going to take the fall for him having too much readily available to him. I just cannot imagine being so sleep deprived that I'd need anesthesia in order to get relief. I just wish the media would back off and let the man rest in peace.

I agree with you Kitty. I wish the media would back off. This 24 hour cable crap is unnecessary. Let the Entertainment Tonight shows run this disgusting gossip.

There has been TMI (too much information) as far as I am concerned.

The guy had a drug habit. Sad end of story.

He had three beautiful kids. I wish them well.

Kitty - it's similar to the Anna Nichole Smith thing. She was taking so many drugs too. And that actor, Heath Ledger.

Thing is one of the docs said that if he didn't give them the drugs it didn't matter, somebody else would. Nobody says NO to these rich famous people.

They get whatever they want. You can't blame the drs when these people can buy anyone off.

They have to have some sense, too, about putting that many drugs into themselves. 48K a month? We live on that per year!

And I am doing the menapause thing. Ugh. Gained a bunch of weight, feel like doody, hot flashes, not sleeping, always tired - even more than usual fatigue. I wish it was over, already. Can't afford to be so tired right now with so much to do, moving and all. They wonder why people have mood swings, LOL. I don't - it's depressing.

The heck I can't blame the Doctors, who script these meds to the addicts. They take an oath...."First do no harm"

Blaming the addict is too easy, as they are dependent on these drugs to get through the day, and don't exactly have their wits about them, in order to take control.

Did you hear the latest? Latoya Jackson says her brother was murdered. It was a conspiracy of the hanger onners, to get his money. They also stole Jewelry and a million dollars from his home, according to Latoya...and kept him away from his family.

I honestly don't think Latoya is playing with a full deck. She is always coming up with something weird or controversial..

Why MJ would want that group to bring up his kids, is beyond me..

Right on, Sally! You'd have thought MJ would have wanted his kids as far away from his dysfunctional family as possible. It will be a miracle if they turn out half-way normal. And the drugs....how about if we ask our doctors for pain meds (narcotics)? Oh the shock, the horror, when they know we have REAL pain. Those so-called "doctors" to the stars have alot to answer for. They make it way to easy for those with drug problems to get their "fix", IMHO. But then, to me, the whole 'Hollywood' thing seems like living in a fantasyworld.

She's gearing up to write another book. She's gotta stir the pot beforehand so she can have a storyline......

*I'm* not saying that... the doctor on the show said that.

I guess it's a lot like how all those kids get out of all their trouble in court. Drunk driving, drug charges. The court does not have the money to fight all year with these people - the people are so ruich they can just hire a dozen lawyers and keep fighting and it drains the legal system dry.

So they give the kids a slap on the wrist and away they go.

It's not doing these stars any favors in the long haul.

A lot of stars would still be alive if they had even one real friend to tell them NO. To tell them the truth, that they were killing themselves with drugs.

Did you see Walk the Line? June Carter probably played a big role in saving Johnny Cash's life, because she told him what he was doing to himself.

Most stars only have a bunch of Yes Men hanging aroung, telling them what they want to hear, afraid if they say something unpleasant they will be cast aside and out of the money zone.

See Judy if we had a few platinum albums we could get vicodin too.
