Default Today I...

Finally finished my SSD hearing with the ALJ and the AME with W/C yesterday..
Wow, what a weight off my shoulders..
The Social security hearing was so informal and I was very lucky apparently I had a very easy going judge. My attorney told me that he was a very fair and nice guy.
THe hearing lasted 20 min and he told her he had all the information he needed that she wouldn't need to submit anyfurther records. I will have my decision in 4 to 6 weeks. The attorney said it went very well....

The AME.. Ugh, Besides all the and glowing from the x-rays that went ok too..

Cyndy-I'm sorry to hear that you are feeling so poopy today.. Take a break and relax in that wonderful pool..
Dabbo-Isn't it a blast to be able to have alittle fun.. I do hope that you don't suffer from that little bit of joy you had yesterday..
Shelley-Sorry your loosing a friend.. I hate it when friends leave.. But, I hope you enjoy that present from Tiffanys You go girl..
Di-I hope you have a bright day full of Sunshine and happiness
Hope-It's great to see you posting again.. I'm so glad to hear that your doing so well...
Johanna-Many Hugs and you better be taking it easy...And asking for

I hope everyone else is having a restful and low pain day...Many Hugs to all

Dawn

Cyn,

You mean you don't have CABANA BOYZ??? Well, that's a MUST!! Who's going to serve our drinkies and things, hmm? And towel off our toes??

I may have to come see Alison and Tam and the rest of you when the legal drama is over, and I expect everything to be just like on The OC, etc. LOL!

I have serious ocean withdrawal going on - haven't seen a wave since St George Island FL, 2003 - and it rained all but 2 days! So a high priority is a family vacation to sunshine and surf (and not even in VIEW of a hospital!!)

We're having a heat wave already in the midwest - been high-80's and even 90 for weeks - I'm melting.......

Dawn- I'm so glad that this went well for you today (Except the poking, etc..)

Pool party sounds like fun, so long as there are steps to get in, and it doesn't require too much swimming. I'm thinking more like a "float in the pool with a drink" party. This would be a good addition http://www.pooltoy.com/rcdrdebo.html

A pool by the ocean would be even better. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

When I was playing I remember thinking "I might not hurt from this!" w-r-o-n-g. ouch. whole left side is tweaked right now. time to go back to the heating pad.

Default Today I

find the energy to surf in the internet and I read all your conversations from the last week.....and for the BBQ jokes: I have a shoulder to offer as I had this shouldersurgery recently!

I will try to go to work on monday after a 5 week break due to surgery. doc said if it is not possible I can stay at home some more time, but I need the distraction. I was a couch potatoe the last weeks and it is so boring to watch the old soap operas in the afternoon. Of course, I have a DVD collection, too but....
most of you know this situation that I describe, so no need to say more about it.

In august I will spend 3 weeks in a rehabilitation center and meanwhile I go as often as possible to the physical therapy and to my alexander therapy and I hope both will help.

I wish you ALL allt the best and take care!!!!
nice greetings
barbara
