MarkIt's nice to hear from you. We won't get into the spanking. You sound good. I remember when my husband had staples on his leg and I had to wash and blow dry the incission. How gross! My guys complain about the attics and crawl spaces but they are paid VERY well and we are, I have to say, really good bosses. Actually, sometimes too good.

I have been using icy/hot on my shoulder at night and when I wake up, I'm in less pain then normal. Trying to go in the hot tub a couple of times a day. It does help. Still I have to say, lately I am very bitchy at home and not sure why. Maybe because no one helps like they should. I have to take a trip to south jersey tomorrow with kids and my mother-in-law. Love her but she wanted to take my daughter to a specific store and I don't trust her driving. She's horrible. So I have to go to drive as if I wanted to go so I know my daughter is safe. I may be paranoid but I think over 80 should have a drivers test. Also she recently broke her hip and had surgery. I watch her walk and get nervous and I am supposed to let her drive my daughter?? I don't think so. I am a little over protective but, hey, they are mine!!

Sorry. Thanks for listening. Linda

sorry Linda, yes, I started driving a little earlier than i'd have liked after surgery bc i didn't trust my mom driving the kids around. There is just a lot more traffic and lanes around us than where she lives, plus we have a big hunky van- she is used to something much smaller. yikes.

you're a good mom to watch out so carefully for your kiddo's

JohannaIt's terrible but true. I've been in the car with my mother-in-law and she will stop driving to look at somthing on the side of the road. She has backed into fire hydrants and other cars and acts like it is no big deal. No one wants to tell her she can't drive. I hate to say it but when she broke her hip, I was hoping that would be the end. No way. She has not driven any of my children in 5 years. I make an excuse every time. Kind of annoys me that I have to but, they are more important. Luckily she only lives 10 minutes away. I don't even like my 17 year old daughter driving! I have to get over that one. She is very good though. She and my boys are good for a Block Buster run. She doesn't like going much further. Thank God.

My 4 year old has invisible friends. They are ballerinas with very interesting names. Makes life fun. Usually we have a pretend birthday party for one of them each day.

My mother's driving....I once bought her a bumper sticker that said, "if you don't like my driving, get off the sidewalk", (seriously).

Heart Joyce *does* still care about me

you guys are LOL funny

Well, I met the new feldenkrais PT this PM and he seems very well informed and pretty cool- maybe this is just what i need after all, and Joyce really IS looking out for me. Maybe I am like a baby bird that needed a good shove out 'the nest.

and the part where he is less than a mile from home and takes my insurance (vs 12 miles of traffic away and out-of-network) ain't so bad, either.

I'll have to dig up the feldenkrais thread to read up and add my comments once i get into it.

he did tell me i should get a

BUCKWHEAT PILLOW

so vic- Looking forward to that deal you were going to work on

Thumbs up Buckwheat pillows

Linda- According to new feldenkrais guy, they conform to your head very well, kind of like the smooshy pillows- except even more supportive for your head/neck, or wherever you put them.

Today I actually bought material and a pattern to make my 4 year old a dress! I haven't sewn in years and then I don't even recall what I made. My 17 year old daughter is a great seamstress along with my mother-in-law. We went to a store for my daughter to get material for a project and I found the easiest pattern I could find. I told daughter #1 she may have to help me but at least I am going to try.

Still hot here in NJ. Hope everyone has good plans for the weekend. Mine are to do nothing. I am finding that trying to baby my shoulder is helping. If I can get this muscle to get out of spasm I believe the symptoms should subside.

Thanks for listening! Linda
