I'm thinking with swelling problems it might not be a good thing... more fluids to the upper body...
I wonder if even a slight inversion might be good to help with her blood flow back from her arm. She gets a lot of venous congestion in her arm and hand. I think I may try her on it gradually and see if it helps her at all (assuming she agrees to it. Teenagers and all...)

I have a traction towel that the PT showed me how to do as well as a actual traction machine that an ortho gave me a prescription for that cost me nothing but billed for $600. Sometimes they help, sometimes they dontjust depends on how and which muscles are spasming that day.
