I just read a really old post (2008) that suggested that TOS and piriformis issues often go together. I am assuming this is due to poor posture from the TOS putting the weight of the head forward and thus causing strain in the lumbar region.
How common is this? I know I struggle with IT-band and piriformis pain, ESP since my MVA/whiplash, but I think a solid connection with the two would be significant on treatment approaches for PTs. So, let me know if this is common and if you found any good reads on the topic. Thanks! ![]() |
