I unconsciously contract my neck muscles including scm and scalenes. I have to check them and release them throughout the day, when I lay down, etc. Since I started focusing on doing so, my neck tension has come down quite a bit.
I don't know what the deal is with this involuntary clenching. At least I can let it go when I put my mind on it. Any further thoughts? |
