I'm not on any meds for dizziness at this time. I'll be interested in your outcome.

Today I have headache, brainfog and my neck is popping and cracking all the time. The last two have been common for me recently, but not the headache. Usually, I have dizziness instead. Maybe something is changing...?
Re: dizziness ......I'm currently looking at Pulsatile Tinnitus.
- The condition is a result of a disturbance in the blood flow of the head or neck.
What do you think????

Every time I've read about it, including just now, it's mentioned to have the rhythm of the pulse, which I do not experience. I think my tinnitus is derived from blood flow issues, but doesn't match this particular label because it lacks that property.

Quite similar to me as I don't always have the rhytmn of the pulse, only occassionally... Strange?
Do you sometimes feel like your ears have a full feeling and a muffled pulsey sound, worse when standing or moving about??

I have this at the moment and I can't tolerate loud noises - they make my ears almost vibrate and echo the loudness. My son is abit annoyed with me as I keep asking him to turn the TV down or to talk with a quieter tone ( he's a typical noisy teen ). My hearing is very sensitive at the moment. I haven't yet picked up my prescription for the Prochlorperazine. I've looked it up and I'm abit wary...... LOTS of horrid side effects ( which I'm bond to experience knowing my luck!) It also states NOT to take if experiencing breathing difficulties. I haven't quite got back to normal with my breathing yet since my op as I think that I picked up abit of a chest/throat infection???? I really think I may give it a miss. Really confused as to what I should do. As much as I don't want to take this kind of med I also don't want this dizziness / headachy feeling!

I've had the full feeling in the past, although it hasn't been bad lately.

I understand your concern about the meds. If it's contraindicated for people with breathing problems then I think you have to wait until that resolves.

I often get partial and sometimes full relief from doing this:

-- heat my neck (typically with the carex bed buddy back/neck wrap)
-- neck stretches, primarily for the front of the neck
-- first rib adjustment with strap -- hey you don't have one so you can skip this step!

Takes me at least 20 mins and sometimes 40.

Good luck!

First rib adjustment......... OMG, you did make me laugh!!!!!! Nice one Chroma Ha ha.
I always say , if you don't laugh you'll cry.... right?
A good blob of Tiger Balm and stretches works for me.
With regards to the anti dizziness meds I really do think I'm gonna give them a miss.... I've not even collected them from the chemist yet so I guess I've unsubconsciously answered my own question about how I feel on taking them. I'm not willing to take anything that could possibly bring on such horrid side effects if I react to them. So if I have a dizzy spell, I'll just have to rest where ever I am and not worry about people staring at me. If the need comes to stick my head between my legs and breath deep.... so be it. I've been in worse positions! LOL
Take care and hope the pain management keeps up.
