yeah i dont get it. the bone at the base of my neck feels like a door knob but maybe that doesn't mean the transverse process is big.

Now that I am really feeling my C7 spinous process, it does seem less prominent than it did before my rib resections. This is probably because T1 is now in a better position (C5-C7 are fused so I'm sure they haven't moved much!). I could just be imagining it all of course.

Does your PT adjust just your 1st rib or mobilize all of your ribs & thoracic spine?
Are your ribs and your thoracic spine hypermobile?

she just adjusts my ribs when i have flare ups
to me they feel elevated all the time but maybe it's my shoudlers, they are hiked up to my ears both ribs and t-spine used to be hypermobile. now they feel stuck to me, my sternum and everything on my left side pops. my tspine now is more hypomobile while everything else is loosey goosy you can see my ribs through my back. its nasty

i think the problem with eds is
i feel tight as hell in my t-spine,sides of my neck one pt i went to long long long ago said i was hypomobile in my tspine, i wonder if he'd say that now current pt says that i am not hypomobile but because of the eds i am used to thinking hypermobile is "normal" so hypomobile is actually normal for me. im not sure if i agree but i understand why she's treating me with kid gloves your spinous process might be less prominent due to swelling (?) too?

had to stand and use a computer for thirty minutes and talk to people at the same time.
i can't tell if my problem is tos or whiplash or both i was not experiencing spasms but i got a little needly around my tos area/scalenes and lightheaded. it sucks not being able to think. the hardest part was thinking. i could not think! too busy wondering if my whole body was going to have a freakout sessoin

i felt good this mornign but sitting at work is continuing the flare, even with neck brace
yesterday i noticed if i put my shoulders back my hands tingle applying pressure to uppertrap/levator= tingly hands applying pressure to collarbone=tingly hands..worse on my winged shoulder side lying on side shoulder flops forward and scalene spasm started losing coordination and getting that buzzing sensation i went to pt a few hours later and she said my ribs were fine. but she adjusted my pecs and my vertebrae crazyness.

update
i only seem to update when im flared. my levators are really to set off. i have been making a website for work and i should not so i have been falling back into old habits but i was doing very well until last week. i have not been to pt in a month :/ i have been doing this routine for about a month and it is really improving my range of motion with arms. before i'd get awful tingling. warning these can all flare you up http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PiU1PCxuFyU ^ a few x a day to make sure nothing is stuck. stuff like this with my opposite hand pulling down on my ribs/pecs. it feels awesome. variations of this all lying down and arms in various positions, pulling down on ribs/pecs then pec minor stretch on foam roller and being VERY aware of when the nerves/muscles around my collar bone start to act up i have done 5 billion cable rows and serratus punches with resistance bands and i am not gaining much if any muscle i started doing this 3 lb weight exercise for my lower traps. it is hard to explain. going to ask pt about how to get muscle. my stomach muscles instantly improved with the pilates exercises so i am not completely muscle retarded but feel discouraged. +a few months or so ago i regained full thoracic mobility. might even been hyper now +i can extend my arm at my side with my wrist flexed usually without tingling after +i can do nerve glides when lying down (unless im flared up like right now i wouldn't attempt them)
