Dr. Duncan McBride is also a great neurosurgeon for an opinion. I know two people who've had fantastic results with Dr. McBride.

Hi I'm new to this forum. I was diagnosed with idiopathic peripherial neuropathy last year. I have recently started seeing a new therapist that says I may have TOS. So now I have so many questions. How is TOS diagnosed? Can the symptoms go all the way down to the feet?

No I havent done those injections. Have been a little fearful of the epidural but theres a good guy at my other dr (Orthohealing that is supposed to be one of the best at doing them. I just havent been convinced thhat the disc is whats causing any pain.I decided to do the TOS stuff first and I still have a few more things to tryI will talk to Dr. J about it again today.. Does Dr. Ty understand TOS?

Dr. Ty understands TOS but does not treat it surgically. He did participate in some TOS surgeries during his training and gave me advice while choosing a vascular surgeon. The spine is his specialty. I think its important for you to rule out the spine before you spend a lot of time and resources fighting the TOS battle.

I use to fear the injections but I'm a pro now (I also have some lumbar disc issues that I live with). The injections can give you relief without the need for surgery.
