New Zipper Empower PostureCue™ Sports Bra'
I stopped by the Intelliskin office today and tried the new Zippered Foundation Shirt for men. The Cool Jade Fabric seems to work as advertised. However, the zippered shirt was not really that much easier to get on than the V-Tee for me presently. This is likely only because, I can raise my arms above my head without issue now so I can see the zippered version being necessary for those who cannot.

I can imagine the zippered bra being easier to get on than the older version.

The sizing also seems to be a bit different. I wear an XL V-Tee and Tank, but could not squeeze into a XL Zippered. XXL Zippered seems to be barely larger than the older XLs. I did purchase the XXL Zippered.

The neckline on the Zippered is close to equivalent of the V-Tee, so it can be worn as a T-shirt under most men's clothes (and still appear professional). However, the sleeves on the XXL Zippered are longer than the XL V-Tee (not sure if this is because of the sizing inconsistency or the design itself). I can wear the V-Tee with short sleeved shirts but I have have to roll up the sleeves on the zippered a bit so they are not visible (a problem I believe many women have with the Eve shirt).

After wearing back to back the Zippered and the V-Tee I have to give a slight edge to the Zippered due to The Cool Jade Fabric which is just a bit more comfortable. Also, the zipper lining is well designed and I don't feel the zipper when wearing unlike the awfully irritating Alignmed S3 zipper.

If you are considering buying a new Intelliskin garment, I recommend choosing the zippered. If you already have an Intelliskin garment and don't need another, the difference is not great enough to warrant another purchase IMHO.

Default Intelliskin Bra

Went and bought the zipper bra today from Intelliskin. It is a little hard aroind the shoulders, The one with out the zipper was a little softer but I liked the zipper and th look of the black one under T-Shirts. i wore it for 2 hours while at the drawing board. My shoulder started getting sore after awhile anyway. I will try it without it for awhile as you arenot supposed to wear it too much at first.

First impressions: very similar to the alignmed posture shirts, but easier to wear under shirts. not alot of shoulder support, but good scalpular support. I tried on the Eve shirt and thought it had better support, but I am waiting for a long sleeved one to come out for winter before I spend more $$$$.

My spinal Q brace gives much much better support everywhere, just a bit bulky and hot and I cant wear it for very long either.

Thanks so much for sharing. I was thinking of ordering one, but my PT said I could have compression issues as I am not able to wear my Bra strap on my left shoulder.Do you think it compresses at that point? I also have issues with the car seat belt, I am usually pulling it off my shoulder.
My left shoulder is tighter and does come forward, so I thought it might be a good idea to have the posture cue bra. Of course she is good at manual therapy and we are working on external rotations, but I just thought the posture cue bra might be able to hold the position of the shoulder after therapy as I feel like a million bucks after therapy and the good feeling does last a couple of hours , I wonder if it would help to hold it longer with the posturecue bra .

It doesnt seem to be that tight for me around the shoulders,or have as much compression as the Eve shirt. but then I have small shoulders. I havent worn it enough to see how I feel about it,but I'll keep you posted. You can order it and then return it if you are not satisfied. Or if you are in SOCAL they let you come and try them on which was very helpful!

Hi Stos2- I have the same problem with bra straps and seat belts. I think the bra looks promising as they are wider straps- almost vest like, but still unsure. If you try this out will you let me know your thoughts? As it stands now, I can really only wear a regular bra for about 6 hrs before pain gets bad.

Hi JKl626- how many hours at a time do you wear the bra? I'm kind of thinking if just for 3-4 hrs at work (a computer) this could be good.

Thanks

Thanks! I am really inspired to get one! How long were you able to wear it?
