Hi everyone,
I just got back from having my functional ultrasound test that measures blood flow to the hand with the arm in different positions. I basically flunked this in May. The test was supposed to be 45 minutes long and after ten minutes, the tech said we were done because he had enough data. When I moved my arm in any position other than hanging down the blood flow stopped. That was how I was diagnosed with TOS. I had had no feeling in my two fingers for three years and my hand was always cold. My arm ached after talking on the phone, etc. Anyway, I am not 100%, but the blood flow is so much better! This is definitely due to the PT (twice weekly since May) and doing the edgelow protocol. I also am beginning to incorporate some of the denver protocol. I can't thank you all enough! Going to MGH for full re-assessment in a few weeks. |

My PT has me doing stuff from edgelow and the denver protocol, a lot of nerve glides, and many stretching exercises to loosen up.
I didn't do any strength training until about two weeks ago, and I started PT in May. I should also add that I have a personal trainer three times a week who does many of the edgelow and denver exercises with me as well. so I am doing the work six days a week.
