Hi there,
I take Cymbalta & Neurontin. The combo for me is really wonderful. Fr me the Cymbalta helps for the deep down in my bones pain while the Neruontin helps with the burning, electric shock feeling pain. I don't experience any noticeable side effects while taking this combo of meds. I do however need to take them right on time as they wear off rather quickly, and my pain increases significantly if I'm more than 30 minutes late taking them at the scheduled time. Hope this helps

cymbalta is really helping me. I was prescribed 30mg and it was too much for me. It made me agitated and I couldn't sleep. Went down to 15mg and still too much. After some trial and error, I found the right amount for me. I opened a 15mg capsule and found there were small beads inside. I take 10 beads in the am and 5 beads in afternoon (I am guessing this is about 2mg/day). I take 100mg neurontin inbetween. This works very well for me and the negative sides from cymbalta are very minor. I am able to work full time and my TOS is the most manageable it has ever been. Just wanted to share my experience with everyone.

Default cymbalta

...made me sweat ALL the time, decreased libido. I was on one year, went off three months, trying paxil now-which seems to be taking the edge off the TOS achy feelings, but is not without its own side effects.

I am only 600mg gabapentin 3x day and 30mg cymbalta in the am. It has really helped with no side effects. I was on 300mg gabapentin and 60 mg cymbalta which really helped, but had some minor side effects (male problems). When the doc changed me to my current dosage, the side effects went away, however it does not completely help my pain, but it is very manageable.

I wish I could have continued on Cymbalta as it gives good supplemental relief combined with Lyrica or Gabapentin. For those experiencing side effects with Cymbalta, Pamelor (Nortriptyline) is another option.
