For anyone who has had surgery (not including mass gen which recommends some exercises only), what exactly did you do afterwards? Was there any manual therapy done?

Generally I think it all depends on what lingering effects you have.
Really good PT or therapy should be fit to your specific needs , not a just generic/one size fits all PT plan.. Is posture an issue? upper body fitness? then that would be good to address. going back to a job that will cause issues? desk/workplace ergonomics and plenty of breaks to off set uses
