Default Job hunting

So I started looking for jobs. I'm not ready just yet but I wanted to see what is out there. The search itself gave me a lot of anxiety and I found myself terrified of failing again. The stress that the job search caused made me arms go numb. This happens when I get very stressed because the veins get flooded with more blood than normal and I guess they are still adjusting.

I'm worried about this anxiety related to jobs. How am I going to overcome it? Feeling weird.

Are you thinking of starting back at full time or part time?
Same field? dental? Or something less arm/positional use?

I have been applying for full time jobs, dental front office. I think I could handle that as it's not typing all day nor assisting all day which would be awful. The problem is I don't have experience for the front office job which is not hard to do as I learned in school, but the dentists always prefer someone with experience. I have also looked at call center jobs as they don't involve typing all day.

Well I decided to simulate a day at the office to see how that would go. It didn't go well. My right arm got very tired and painful from using the mouse for an extended period of time.

I'm getting pretty frustrated. It's only been 4 months since the second surgery but I was expecting a lot more progress by now.

Hi Nellyzen ,
Why don't you try some kind of teaching job which can be light for tos people.
I find its good to stand day long instead of sitting in front of computer.

Nelly, have you applied for disability? I was approved after going to court. It went back to the first day I didn't go to work. It's best to apply sooner than later.
