Default going thru similar doors

hi hairdresser

I'm about to apply for CPP too & like you, I anticipate they'll tell me I don't qualify too (they go back 7 years....of which 4 & a half, I've been off since the accident so haven't paid into CPP in any fashion as I've not worked, till this last week....and the 3 years before that, I worked as a private contractor as a long haul & transfer driver.) But I've already heeded fellow members' advice to get applying & then APPEAL it all.

can't offer any advice on the EI aspect either, for the same reasons, but know you're in my thoughts & best wishes, hun. Maybe we can do mirror impersonations since our "noses" are going to look similar

Default apply for all

hi Hairdresser,

I do have some experience with cpp and it says you won't get it, but apply then appeal as Vix says!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! always apply you lose nothing and can gain all.....apply for it if they deny you send an 11 page letter with all medical info and your side of things as in how you can't cope and are not doing well and nothing is getting better, who screwed up what with your docs info...etc...if you want advice I can help but always apply don't ever consider a door closed unless the gov finally does it for a final time....they always deny to begin with like the insurance companies.....that is what they are after alllllllllllll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so apply for all and don't forget your local churches and local supports!!

take care love and hugs,
Victoria

Thanks to all. Vix my nose is going to be flat soon! Thanks Victoria, cpp told me if there is any new medical evidence that I can appeal within 90 days. It seems that all these gov't programs are set up for denial. My mri is Friday. So if there is any new medical evidence I will appeal. My goodness I'm appealing wcb's decision and that doesn't look good either. It's awfully hard to find a dr. that want's to be involved. My family Doctor is still not releasing me to work. She is the only one backing me. Accordring to my Physiatrists reports the gabapentin is a cure?? She doesn't know yet I could not take it anymore. I was blowing up like a ballon and had hives etc. Cpp seemed to get the idea that although I couldn't return to hairdressing but could do other work? I've been racking my brain trying to figureout what that might be??

Default they should tell you at wsib...

if you win your case at wsib then you will get a functional assessment and they will find what you can do.

can you try Lyrica instead of Neurontin? maybe you won't have same side FX.

I hope your appeal goes well. Just keep at it in hopes that your efforts will be effective.
