Hi Mucker; Geez stay on them and adress the issues durning your treatment. I'm glad your correspondence is backed with written letters. It's so sad that they add more stress and can accually delay healing by trying to save a few bucks. Nothing is reasonable or subject to change. These are the procedures and regualtions and thats all. Pretty messed up system. Secondary scarring with the inhumane treatment we as injured workers are subjected to. Keep doing what your doing and please don't let the stress interfer with your healing. I'm here for you, but you know that.

Hay thanks for your support girl friend (hairdresser) well i have sent my letter off yesterday so now it will be the waiting game. Sorry to hear that your having problems with comp gibbrn hope you can get it all straiten out before to long. Well i guess that would be a dream i know they never move to fast in fact i can't even say they move to fast even when its in there benefit any more. I spent about five days doing up my letter so that caused some more pain but it has been a few days now and the pain is not going down at all. In fact i have a very sore muscle in my right arm its the one that runs on a angle towards the elbow. And for the life of me i can't figure out why i haven't done anything different then before. It is driving me crazy because it is so sore. My hands have been on fire for two days now and i find the top of my shoulder running up to my neck keeps getting tighter i am not sure if its just stress or not because it feels like it did before the surgery. My shoulder blade has been bothering me a bit as well i don't think it has anything to do with sleep ever since i got my water pillow i have been waking up feeling better then before. i love this pillow i am now wishing i had a bed just like it i am sure i would sleep like a baby then. You would think that things should be getting better or a little better by now it has been seven or eight weeks now. I know some of this pain has got to be from the carpel tunnel but the other things still feel like tos. I can't wait till i see the other doctors to see what is wrong with me i think i am starting to slide into a bit of a depression again i can't let it get to bad because i don't wont to end up increasing my pills any more it is going to be hard to get off the ones i am on now. Any ways don't mean to bring any one down as ya all know just because things are not going so great right now doesn't mean they wont pick up. They have said since the being that i seem to be a special case because of the sytoms i have had and when they started and what has worked for there other patient has not worked for me. any ways thats enough of that talk hope all is well take care bye for now.

Default Massage

Hi Mucker,

Sorry to hear you're having so much pain again. Thank you for the supportive words. Are you having any massage right now. It may be helpful for you. Very gentle massage may help with lymph drainage. And if you get someone who does nerve mobilization as well then you are laughing. I find nerve mobilization very helpful in keeping the nerve flowing and not being entrapped from my wrist to my shoulder.

Love and hugs,
Victoria

hey mucker- my pain relief from the new a/d is wearing off, plus i am PMS this week, and still recovering from the one bad new exercise of last week.... so I am a bit down, myself.

Hoping it won't last, i see dr jordan to talk about the a/d dosage tomorrow, we'll see how it goes.

hang in there, girl, we'll all get through it somehow.

Hay will i am in one hell of a flare and have been this way since Friday my guy took me on a little get away to see my friends. I had a great time it has been at lest over a year since i have seen most of my ship mates. I was having pain but i was able to push it aside for once just because of seeing every one it end up that there where five of my buddies off on holidays what a time it was a little biter sweet though. I found my self sadden because of losing my job from all of this tos and carpel tunnel and god knows what else is wrong with me. We went to North Sydney it is about a four and a half hour drive i took my water pillow so i could rest my arms on it will we were on the road but at the end of the day i was still in a lot of pain. But i would do it again if its to see my friends and catch up on what is going on in all of our life's. I also got a call before i left about seeing the neurologist i go Oct 30th i was socked i thought it would take longer to get in so that was good news now i just hope it wont take to long for her to figure out what is causing the tremors. Any ways i sure am blessed to have a man like mine he knew that i need some cheering up and he picked the best way to make it happen. Well that's it for now my hands are on firer and aching like crazy so chat later.

Default Hey Mucker

Mucker,
How are you doing now? Has your flared settled down? What do you think caused this one? I hope you are feeling better...

Well i just got back from the dentist had to go and get my teeth cleaned. Who new that just from going and sitting in a chair would cause such pain my god i have been going about every 3 to 4 months to get a cleaning and i have never had a problem with my TOS. But today i feel like chopping my arms and shoulders off. The lady who cleans my teeth was reading my file and told me her mom had TOS and had the surgery 10 years ago and she still suffers from the symptoms. No one has told me to do anything except for the exercise i was shown after the surgery i do a little stretching on my own that i did when i was in physio. But Bethune told me to take it easy until i see him again. Just do a little and if it hurts stop doing it and that's just what i have been doing. Any ways that's it for now need to take some meds for this pain i will write again after i see the neurologist tomorrow.

Yes once again no answers just what i don't have wrong with me. Dr Sarah Kirby (neurologist) is going to send me for a MRI now. I was in her office for an hour and a half and she had no idea what could be causing these tremors. She said it could be nothing at all just to much coffee or caffeine regular life stuff. I told her when this started i was only drinking one cup of coffee a day and i wasn't drinking pop. So i really don't think it has anything to do with caffeine and i don't every remember being hit on the head. So unless the MRI shows anything i guess i will never no what is causing the tremors.

Default think you are right on the money

Hi Mucker...sorry to hear of your long haul at the doc's. I think you are on the money about it not being caffeine related. I think if she is suggesting that is the reason u may want a second opinion from another neuro??????

MRI after a surgery is always a good idea.....I may suggest that perhps it is nerve fatigue and muscle fatigue giving you the tremors. too much work and they are over extended....even if you are doing very little could be fatigue. I know I get small tremours if I overdo it. my hand shakes and my arm feels like lead.....

just a thought.

hope u get to the bottom of this!!!!
take care
love and hugs,
Victoria
