Heart I feel the love

you guys rock! After a some what good night's sleep I am now able to say I have talked to a manager at comp....I won't even go there....waste of time she kept saying call your adjudicator....HELLO communication is the issue and my goodness did she apologise for it about six times......duhhhhhhhh

I have also talked to LTD and they will pay me in the meantime so I am not without funds but they need to do more looking into my case to see if I am totally disabled.....well come on folks I am not at work becasue I am the biggest slacker in the world and I love pain and just don't feel like I want to work anymore...........ahhhhhhhhhhh But at least the LTD people are reasonable and courrier things to me and they are now gonna fight it out!!!

bummer to do this again but at least I know the protocol esp the protol of getting magically better due to moving to Calgary!!!!!! Oh the cold air is healing....
I am ranting sorry.....

Also called the watch dog on comp so hopefully if more people do it...... you all know the score!!

Love and superhugs to all,
Victoria

Vic,

Keep the faith. You were a great nurse, loved your work, and would be on that floor in a heartbeat if you could be. You didn't ask for TOS, don't want it, but are stuck with it. And work put you here. Work comp needs to tak care of your needs, plain and simple.

Stay mad, just don't let them make you go mad. Stay tough with them, but know we're always here with a virtual shoulder. Stay in touch in people - get phone #'s and names and call back if you haven't heard in a couple of weeks.
Ask for their supervisors or managers - ask JUST WHAT is it they need to get this moved along.

I am to the point where I am going to contact my Congressman and see if he can get anything accomplished for me - Ray LaHood. Don't know since it's a Justice Dept program, but he's been in Washington a long time and knows a lot of people. Like you, we NEED the $$$ - everything around the house is breaking down, oldest daughter is a Jr which means college decisions, dh's business suffers from all the capital we've spent on my med treatments - on and on and on.

I'm with ya all the way!

Default It's incredible

vic,

This has been my battle for over 5 years. so i can empathisize.
No disability $$ from comp for >5 years. 5 yrs of treatmnts denied,
over 1/2 mil $ unpd bills. lost nursing career i so loved too.
Money has gotten so tight here. I don't know how to cut back any
more than I already have money wise. My husband cannot retire in January because we have no income. $$ i would have saved for retirement. i'm beyond sadness - so much unexpressed sadness, depression. i make it thru the day w/hope & my faith & ppl here (thx guys). changed laws make situation worse. i'm sorry - dint meanto hijack your thread. but want yu to know i'm with you on this. pain is only part of this nightmare. add on yrs of wc abuse after awhile anger doesn't help...hope by now u got the $$ back.
there is always.....
Hope

Victoria--So sorry to hear this, it really stinks. It sounds as though it's not any easier in Canada than it is in the States....(?)

And Hope--hugs to you.

It doesn't take much just one little letter and one wrong word and the whole thing comes crashing down!!!! Canada is a difficult place as well. I feel for all of us who have had to do this now and in the past and future. It is a hell beyond belief and beyond comprehension.

As frustrating as it is we must do it. It is a full time job. My arms are killing me. It's frustrating dealing with people Who do not understand what you are trying to tell them. It is also frustrating dealing with people who do not have medical background yet are able to adjudicate on your case. You cannot reason with people who do not understand a word you are saying.

Thank you all so much for your support. It means more than I can ever say.

Love and hugs to all,
Victoria

PS I too am considering getting in contact with local politics to let them know what is happening ........Not that it has done much good in the past.

xoxo
