I made two sides for T.day!!!! I don't cook normally and I especially don't with my RSIs but I got the Martha Stewart bug and made - Ok, don't laugh- chex mix and poached pears in red wine I am more impressed with the second one. The chex mix is just to nibble on while the real food is being made :P (i'm terrible about picking!!!)

Hope you all have a wonderful day tomorrow

Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

I totally lucked out - My Brother hosted T-day this year, I didn't have to cook a thing! I did have to drive 1.5hrs each way tho, so my arms are noodles. Otherwise, I survived a flare up yesterday and was able to make it today.

Very thankful.

I have two frozen shoulders along with TOS. My seventh EMG was scheduled for this week to see how bad my newer left condition was. But I fell down a hill at High School football field and hurt right hand/wrist. Turns out I needed four stitches and broke bone at base of finger. I guess EMG would be bad ideal. Now in finger cast and wrist splint. Wonder how it will effect my Carpal tunnel and TOS. I better cancel EMG.

Vic- i hope you're feeling better today....

Belated happy Turkey Day to all! We were the lucky hosts of not one, but TWO thanksgivings!! my fam drove up thursday for the day, and my in-laws came up friday, and stayed for 3 days. I "fried" the turkeys in this new oil-less fryer, and lemme tell you, they came out TASTY. but, i realized after the face that i probably shouldn't try to lift the basket with the turkey out of the fryer AND put in on a platter. no good way to do that w/o tweaking my arm, and my hand just doesn't have that kind of strength.
anyways, i'm glad we had people up/around, despite the stress. It gave me an opportunity to rest, and i needed that. STILL getting over this bronchitis (which might be pertussis aka whooping cough). doc told me it could take 2-3 more weeks before i stop coughing. boooooooooo.
anyways..

PEG!! good to hear from you. I've missed you I;m sorry to hear about your other side though. take it easy on the typing, and no falling asleep at the keyboard

Doctor's tomorrow. I can't bend my finger and they don't seem to line up straight. Must be broken like hospital said. This is the hand that has gad 2 carpal tunnel surgeries and has median, brachial plexus, and the shoulder is frozen. Can't be helpful to any of these conditions.

Good Luck Billy!! Please update.

Today I had a consultation w/ a WC atty that was highly recommended by TOS friends I'm in a Feldenkrais class with. And he is taking my case!!! He says it looks like he can get me a better disability rating than what the QME came up with- like halfway between that rating and my treating doctor's rating !
I'm so optimistic now!! What a great day even tho i hurt
