Twitching Down One Side?
Hello. Quick intro/back-story...my husband and I were in a car wreck Nov 2010 where a car struck us in freezing rain, on the highway, and caused our car to spin and roll my husband's direction. During the roll, he hit his head on the side of the car. At the time we didn't know he had a concussion and wasn't even diagnosed with it. Two days later, we went back to the ER for twitching down his right side and found out about the concussion.
He had some major vertigo problems and went to therapy for it. Ringing in the ears still every day. He was off work (and couldn't drive) for 7 weeks because of his PCS. After that he changed jobs, his mood, parts of his personality, etc. The months since then have been challenging for us both b/c of his PCS and my back problems from the wreck, but this website sure has helped me understand more about this condition and how it affects him and us.
In July 2011, he saw a Neuro specialist and found out he still had PCS and had the nueropsy. test, saw a brain doctor, had 2 MRIs, etc. He's doing much better emotionally since he's on antidepressants and they also have helped him at work (with and adjusted work schedule). He still has symptoms that many of you describe also.
But in the last week he's started twitching on his LEFT side. His eye does it almost nonstop and down to his hand. He's going to the doc tomorrow and will bring this up, but has anyone had this happen? He does have stenosus (sp?)/ narrowing of the spine where the nerve canal is so we think it must have to do with this, but aren't sure.
Any ideas would be great. Thank you for your help!
