Default Just finished writing book review

Just finished a 450-word book review for a national magazine (I had written a few pieces for them prior to my concussion). I'm really happy about this, even it took me a bit longer than usual (I had lots of lead time and spaced the reading and writing out over a number of days - for the most part, I limited myself to two-hour stretches). I think the quality is up to scratch.

I'm still off work (the freelance writing is unrelated to my job), but I think this is a really positive step - I read three books in the course of doing this, put my cognitive skills to the test in writing and editing the review, and (if I do say so myself) passed with flying colours. I think doing this sort of thing will be a good stepping stone in my rehabilitation.

Now, if only I could go for a ten-minute walk at normal speed without triggering symptoms

Thanks! Alas, I'm not a girl (what's the masculine equivalent of "you go, girl"? Maybe just "good on you" or some such ).
