does anyone know if blood sugar levels (probably dropping more than rising) have anything to do with how you feel??
I know it sounds bizarre, but sometimes when I'm feeling a little off...eating some fruit, cereal, granola, a glass of juice, something...makes me temporarily feel a little better. (or is this just my imagination????) |

I believe it does. I sleep much better if I have a snack before going to sleep. I used to have a glucometer so I could test my blood glucose. If I felt sleepy or groggy, it usually meant my blood sugar was lower than 80, even as low as 50. I know to snack when I feel that way.

I also find that having a snack will make my headaches go away. Sometimes I wonder if it is merely because it is taking my mind off the pain, but also think it could be related to blood sugar levels or even serotonin release from eating "feel good" foods!??
