Default blood sugar

does anyone know if blood sugar levels (probably dropping more than rising) have anything to do with how you feel??

I know it sounds bizarre, but sometimes when I'm feeling a little off...eating some fruit, cereal, granola, a glass of juice, something...makes me temporarily feel a little better. (or is this just my imagination????)
