Default A video of my Healing Touch Instructor

Many of you have seen my posts on how I recovered from my PCS using Healing Touch. Its an energy therapy that works with the bodies chakras to balance the energy field so that the body can heal itself. It decreases pain, anxiety, stress, helps heal wounds after surgery, and many other things. This news story is one of many that have been done on it. The woman featured in the video is also my Level 2 Instructor so i am very proud and excited to share it. She is a pretty incredible woman!! Check it out

Began Healing in November 2011 after starting acupuncture and Healing Touch (a nurturing energy therapy that promotes relaxation and pain relief). I went back to work in February 2012. Ive been symptom free since July 2012. Very happy, positive, energetic and working out every day, doing yoga, and living a normal life again!
I also began taking Healing Touch classes in November 2011 and completed 5 Levels of Healing Touch Certificate Program that included a 1 year mentorship to become a Healing Touch International Practitioner in June 2013. I am so pleased to offer this wonderful healing therapy to my patients, friends, and clients.

Default Hi nightnurse

I had this done in the hospital, actually from a night nurse. It did calm me. I also had someone who teaches this, do it to me in my home. I believe there are energies in our bodies, after all we are made from this. ginnie

While in the hospital following my accident that caused my concussion, I was having severe headache pain and getting no relief from medications all the way up to dilaudid (2mg IV). One of the nurses called a nurse in the hospital Chronic Pain unit who practiced Healing Touch. I had never heard of it before. She performed on me while I was sitting in a chair with her behind me, and I could never see what she was doing. I never felt a physical touch, but I could feel my pain lessening. It's hard to describe the feeling. It did not provide complete relief, but definitely lessened the pain.

She returned for a second visit (always in the evening). Then I never saw her again. I asked and everyone acted like they didn't know who or what I was talking about. She hadn't given me any contact info and my short term memory being what it is, I couldn't recall.

I would very much like to be able to get in touch with her. I've used the two referral web-sites without sucess.

Very nice, Nightnurse. You could almost see the pain releasing from that little girl's space.

One question...as you know I practice a little different forms of energy healing. Do Healing Touch practitioners use spirit guides, or is it all unchannelled energy work? Just curious.

I found with my brain injury.....Healing Touch initially lessened my headaches. I was starting with an "i think my head is gonna explode and a knife is stabbing in the temple"- type of headache, so my first treatments would take my pain level from a 10 out of 10 to a 3 out of 10. Which is a huge decrease in pain when medicine doesnt work!
My first treatments were when i was on break during my night shift at 2am and i literally couldnt go on until another nurse gave me a treatment and it got me through the rest of my shift. Then I finally took the class on my own when i went back out on disability and was unbelievably depressed, in agony, and had no where to turn. My whole life changed after taking Level 1 Healing Touch. I took it again as a helper 2 weeks after that, then took Level 2 a few weeks after that Next week I take Level 3!!

After multiple treatments, i realized that my pain would get less and less every time and wouldnt return to that 10 out of 10 pain. When i did treatments on my self everyday, is when my pain started to disappear. When you see a Healing Touch Practicioner, they will also give you instructions and "homework" on how to do a treatment on your self so that in between treatments you can continue to work on balancing your energy fields and actively participate in your own healing process.

Just like in the video....we have patients family members who take the Healing Touch Level 1 weekend course so they can learn how to help their family member relax and have less pain once they return home from the hospital. Just as this mother took the class to learn how to help her daughter.
You dont have to "believe" in anything...it works whether you believe or not. It is what it is. And i was never a "believer" until i became a patient and had it done on me. All you know is that you started with the worst headache and when you are done, you finally have relief that no other medicine has given you before. Along with taking away the anxiety and other annoying PCS symptoms.

I've done treatments on my patients for all different types of reasons, and every single one of them could feel the effects when i was done or even with their eyes closed, telling me what they feel and how their pain is moving or disappearing. Its pretty remarkable. I've done probably 150 or more treatments in the past 4 months and everyone has absolutely loved it and had such great results! I do treatments on my patients, friends, family, and coworkers. If a coworker says they have a headache (and they have time for a 15 minute break), i will immediately get working on lessening it and it works every time! It has completely changed our healthcare system and patient satisfaction by having nurses who can heal their patients with more than just medicine. It is wide spread here in San Diego as a top alternative medicine technique

Default Re: healing

I believe that healing touch is a form of prayer. I do believe in God, and that healing touch comes from God. This isn't rakke to me, but prayer from one person to another, very similar to what happens at healing service in church. I didn't go to the kind of healing where people fall backwards and get caught by someone. This was prayer from the whole congregation, who put there hands with the minister over me and prayers. My night nurse prayed, and so did my neighbor who practiced this energy healing. We are composed of energy, or our souls. In the way this was done to me, it was done as healing prayers. same form only with the spiritual touch of prayer. We are indeed composed of energy, I guess I just believe it comes from God. Just a thought on how this meditation happened for me. ginnie

That's how I essentially feel, too. Without starting a holy war here, some folk start to get uncomfortable with these kinds of alternative therapies, which I can understand. Yet Jesus Himself routinely performed energy healing (and likewise got into a bit of trouble for His effort). I find it hard to believe that the Almighty would restrict any kind of healing to only the specially-appointed in some way. Just my two shekels.
