That's actually the cheapest I've heard.

People need to understand how NCR works. The therapist inserts a balloon into the sinuses via the nose. After careful placement, the balloon is inflated and the pressure is supposed to move the bones of the upper face/sinuses to better positions. In someone who has a facial bone structure problem, this could help. I bet there are plenty of painful results, too.

Rather than asking about NCR, I think the question should be about the individual symptoms that NCR is expected to resolve.

The NCR therapist in Palo Alto/Menlo Park is trained as an acupuncturist.

Before I let someone try to change those bones in me, I would seek out comments from an ENT or ENT/maxillo-facial surgeon. I can understand how many may need NCR to try to relieve problems created by overly aggressive orthodontists. My kids' orthodontist did his master's thesis on how the bones of the face and front of the skull can or can't move. The results of his research was that those bones are very difficult to move, especially permanently. In his research, he saw the damage done by orthodontists who are too aggressive with their attempts to move the bones of the upper jaw.

So is that the main condition or cause this procedure addresses - orthodontic damage, and not so much TBI damage ?

In my opinion it sounds very scary. I would try acupuncture and chinese medicine and cranial sacral therapy and chiropractic neurology before this.

It is used for a variety of so called facial-cranial issues. The application to concussions is not directed at facial-cranial deformities from the concussion specifically. Problems from aggressive orthodontic treatment is just a common reason for NCR.

There is no way anybody can tell you that it will or won't make a difference with PCS.

It can be an expensive shot in the dark. If the money is not a strain, who can say.

I am also interested in learning about this. Mostly from anyone with Lyme, atlas subluxation, and possible fault at sphenobasilar joint.

My cranial related symptoms which I am still hoping to fix are :

1. electrosensitivity
2. central nervous system/immune dysfunction, electrolyte issue
3. sensitive hearing/sometimes auditory processing problem
4. busy brain/learning disability (cannot follow lesson in class, or copy notes at same time)
5. very weak muscles/joints after back injury
6. even as a kid would always get into trouble and don't know why, easily criticized, not breast fed
7. sugar or orgasm causes headaches
8. top of head caved in
9. mercury in brain, poor blood flow
10. eyesight nearsightedness
