Hi all,
Just seeking open discussion regarding the adverse effects of exercise/exertion on PCS? Is there proven physiology behind this? My guess is that exercise causes an increase in blood pressure which travels to the cerebral hemisphere and wears down already damaged axon myelin sheaths. This would explain why my symptoms (e.g. brain tingling and slurred speech) are greatly worsened in the 24 hours following exercise/exertion but decrease in severity as the myelin sheaths begin to heal (e.g. reduced brain tingling and slurred speech). Thoughts and knowledge appreciated! |
