I no longer get headaches when reading or concentrating. Memory and concentration skills are back (or at least I'm acing each test given to me by the doctor). I can sit in front of a computer for five hours without issue (not that I should!). TV, music, driving are all fine again. I just now respond to stress with a headache. I can't do as many things as I once did (like running around to go shopping or do errands) without getting a slight headache. LOUD noises (machinery, loud traffic) will give me a headache as well. I sat in a crowded restaurant tonight without issue. At this point I'm thinking I may have a pinched nerve (or something) in my neck, which may be why I respond to exercise as well. Going to see a physical therapist soon.. She probably didn't mean to spear tackle me, as I'm 125lbs and she was probably over 200. That said, I had already passed the ball.

Recovered by the end of February. A branch fell on my hardhat at work on 10/7. Not sure if completely concussed but have been feeling "out of it". Definitely injured my upper cervical region and upper back. Out of work for the time being. |

Peter you may want to pursue myofascial release. For some the muscles in the neck will not relax because of your stated mis-alignment. Myofascial release can help both realign and relax the muscles and promote recovery. It made a world of difference for me.
After starting this therapy my daily headaches were reduced to two to three a week with a corresponding reduction in severity.
