I wish I could explain it better, but that is what it feels like. irritated, swollen, sore. I a taking vitamin regimen hoping it will help a little. I am afraid that my nerves have healed wrongly, and this is a permanent state. I don't like to go there because I don't know how to live with that. I am still waking up with nightmares and my body/head spasming and shaking and tremoring.
I read somewhere that that could be permanent degenerative damage to the brain stem and now I am getting anxiety attacks, bad ones. I hope this doctor can help me even a little. also have appointment with psychiatrist. thanks for reading this guys and gals! and please God help all of us to improve |

You sound like your very anxious....(understandable!) might sound random, but, do you have a dog? Do you have a friend with a calm dog? Sounds almost like PTSD almost in a way...just think about hanging out some with a pup that could be a good, calming influence. Match your breath with theirs, slow and steady as you fall asleep! If you wake up from a nightmare- just repeat. See how it goes!

got sick in a very traumatic way so it's possible. I will try breathing exercise when I go to sleep tonight. my doctor said that sometimes if a certain part of the brain stem is damaged, it could effect the release of norepinephrine when waking, i.e. releasing too much and causing the symptoms, but I don't know.

Mark I can understand what you are going threw. I feel that you are having major anxiety and you are getting thoughts and they are turning into compulsive thoughts not OCD or anything, just thoughts that are compulsive. I have PTSD and anxiety is very overwhelming along with the rest of emotions I have managed by medication.I have nightmares, major depression, major anxiety, panic, paranoia, stress, I get over stimulated with any stress, behavior problems. What medication are currently taking?Have you seen a psychiatrist? Are your hands and feet most of time cold?
