There are no reliable therapies for tinnitus. The only thing one can do is learn to ignore it or play background sounds to help drown it out.
I have had tinnitus for decades. Sometimes, it gets very loud. I just have learned to ignore it.

I don't know how bad yours is. If I focus on mine, I feel like I will go insane. I try to focus on "real sounds" or shift my attention to something else(think about something).

it's comforting to know I'm not the only person on this board awake at this time, although I hope it's not because of insomnia like me. I'm tired of discovering new symptoms and waiting for old ones to go away lol and as the day goes on and I get more tired I get louder tinnitus, more twitches and pain all over, and begin to feel flu like.
what makes all these crazy symptoms happen. is it dead neurons, damaged neurons. hormone problems. my nystagmus test indicated damage to the brain stem cerebellum and thalamus. the test I took is being investigated b the army to see how reliable it is and if it can be used as an indicator of tbi. |
