Either works fine. Just use methylcobalamin form. Sublingual is becoming more common, especially in the methylcobalamin form. It is hard to let a sublingual stay in your mouth for long. I end up swallowing most of it.

Studies done recently show oral and sublingual
Deliver the same response in patients.

But you should take B12 on an empty stomach
as food present in the GI tract hinders
absorption.
