Shocked Bad reaction from neurofeedback therapy

Hello,

I wanted to post here to try to find some feedback and help for what I experienced after my first neurofeedback session.

I have a chemical brain injury & hallucinogen persisting perception disorder from the injury. and in my qeeg it showed significant decrease in alpha activity almost all over my head.

So I went to my first session, I think I trained for 6 minutes and afterwards I felt kinda ok...then I drove home and I noticed I felt very spaced out and tired. When I got home I went to lay down for a while, then throughout the day I experienced extreme agitation, I had mania, I felt very confused and at night I could not sleep. It's been 3 days since my session and I still have this horrible spaced out dissociation feeling!! I am finding it hard to talk to people and form sentences, it's like my body doesn't follow what I'm supposed to do & I feel rlly disorientated...I'm rlly scared that this won't go away I have been scared off to go back again for more sessions.

Can anyone out there offer me some help and advice ?? Thank u
