Thank you, Lara. The doctors so far have told me to just take tylenol or norco for the headache and that they will likely go away with time, but the burning pain has started this last week. I have an appt tomorrow to discuss that and maybe get a neuro referral.

So I read a bit about occipital neuralgia, I wonder if my concussion could've set it off even though it was my forehead I hit. Last night my head was on fire so much I couldn't even lay down or touch it. No meds helped. I hope this is not a sign of an emergency situation about to happen..

i had this: it went away with some time and neck stretches. i hope yours does too.

maybe 2-3 months; just to be clear though i don't know if what you have is the exact thing i had. it sounds like yours is more wide-spread. mine was at a particular point on top of my head
