Default Having strange symptoms post exercise

I went on a bike ride Wednesday - just a 1/2 hour or so and when I reached my destination, which was Starbucks with my Dad, I could not hear, my voice was weak and unable to project as well as I felt spatially unaware of my environment and essentially just completely out of it. Also had congestion in my face with no mucus to explain it away.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this? After 30 months I am dying to hit my exercise routine again and things like this really discourages me. I know how lucky I am to have the faculties to ride my bike and I'm not complaining as many have it much worse, I just would love to get back in the saddle again!

Read through some other exercise threads, there is a lot of good advice there.

Basically you have to ramp up your activities very slowly.
What used to be no big deal before the injury, now will be a huge deal and might cause setbacks.

Generally I would recommend walking at a slow pace for a short period of time and seeing how you do. Do that for a week and if no symptoms are aggravated then increase time/speed.
Stationary bike is also a good option, you get the exercise without all the motion. But again, be careful with the level.

I literally started at a pace barely above my resting heart rate for 5 mins a year ago and very slowly increased from there.

March 2013 - Thought that since most of my symptoms resolved I could start having fun again.
Went snowmobiling once (didn't hit my head) and concussion symptoms returned and got even worse than before.
June 2013 - accidentally bumped my head against a deck railing, and had a month-long setback.
November 2013 - drove to work after a big snowstorm and the roads were very rough, ended up having another setback.
2014 - Having setbacks after coughing/sneezing too much, or someone slapping me on the back, or any other significant jarring.
Feb 2014 - Started seeing Atlas Orthogonal chiro - most helpful doc so far.
June 2014 - Two months of physical/visual therapy - no noticeable improvement.
September 2014 - Diagnosed with Perilymph Fistula in right ear.
November 2014 - Fistula surgery (switched to left ear before the surgery after additional testing).
January 2016 - Quit work to "work" on figuring out PCS, so far it seems that eyes/vision issues are the most contributing factor, especially computer work.

Current symptoms are: inconsistent sleep patterns, headaches, vertigo/dizziness, anxiety/panic attacks, mental fog/problems with concentration, problems with computer screens.

Bud-
This is just so weird. I know and I've read and I get it why this is happening but my psyche can't get the hint. Same thing happens to me. Foggy and grumpy- then frustrated at the grumpy and not a fun person go be around.
My peppy upbeat horrray attitude sometimes wants to just say- when will this ever get better! Then I step back and take note of the small teeny tiny microscopic steps and take a nap! =} Parumphh
