I seem to find the mornings much worse. My posture is good when I sleep and my neck is not an issue.
Also Ive not been doing well lately and rest isn't helping. It's been about a month of almost complete rest. This is the worst I've felt in 2 years. Is this common? Thanks |

Saying you feel your worst without defining what you mean by worst leaves many of us at a disadvantage. Quality of sleep often makes a difference.

I've never been a morning person, even less now! Has anything changed in your life recently? Is it physical or mentally you feel worse?

I feel you brother, though I've always been like this.
I find that as I have sleep less I feel better - do you get this? I have read several studies indicating that sleep deprivation boosts various neurotransmitters which would make you feel better overall. Prior to my injury I would normally sleep 11 hours a day, and when I cut this to 7 I would feel a bit tired, but generally a lot better for a few days at least until I really wore myself out. I find that after period of stress, the first nights sleep is really long and I feel like CRAP afterwards, though as I do this repeatedly for several days my brain appears to readapt. After my injury I was sleeping 13, though recently since starting on my SSRI (Sertraline) I have been waking up after 9-10 and just feeling like I really want to go do stuff and that sleeping is a waste of time. I actually have to force myself to go back to bed haha. |
