Hello,
I did not have dreams at night for months after my concussion and I used to have them before very often and vivid! The dreams just started returning but they are black and white. Very short like a photo of a scene and in slow motion, but I remembered two. I guess this is a sign of progress? Can anyone relate? |

Hi Platinum,
I can certainly relate. It was 9 months following my concussion before I had a dream. Now at 21 months, I have them fairly regularly, though many of my symptoms remain problematic. Not sure how to interpret that, but I suppose at a minimum increased dreaming represents a step in the right direction. ![]() |

I always thought not remembering your dreams is a sign that you are sleeping deeper, if you remember your dreams it's because you wake during REM sleep?

Thanks. I think, but it's just my guess, that the brain is trying to put things together, old memories and dreams but it does seem like a good step in healing. I hope you improve in every way soon! |
