I have intercranial hypertension along with TN too!!! Imagine that. My neurosurgeon and I went farther down that theoretical line (that TN and IH are linked), and installed a shunt to relieve the pressure. I am sad to report that I still have the same amount of pain as I did before the shunt surgery. Having a shunt placed is risky business, so I would avoid it if you can. I hope that this helps, sorry to bear the bad news, though.
