Hi Moose,
Have you had your surgery? If so, I hope it went well for you. I had MVD surgery 1 year ago. For me, the worst part of my recovery was the steroids the doctor put me on to prevent brain swelling. They kinda made me crazy. My surgical wound got infected and I had to go back to the hospital for a couple of nights, but IV antibiotics cleared it up.

Let me know how you're doing. The odds are in your favor that the surgery will relieve your pain. Please let me know if I can help or answer any questions. I'll be thinking about you.
Cheryl

And Zatochi--I'm so glad to hear that your surgery made your pain go away.

Thanks Cheryl, I feel so fortunate that I have not had any problems since. The surgery was a life saver literally. The worst problem I had after surgery were the terrible headaches. They got worse when I laid down. Felt like my head was going the explode. This lasted for about a month but after that I was back to work. Total time missed working after surgery was about 6 weeks.
