Default where do they get it?

Tracy, when we rewrite the book on tn, we'll strike out all the stuff that has been written and rewritten and copied and circulated that JUST AIN'T SO. I'm sure it does you a lot of good to read that when a person has bilateral tn "both sides don't hurt at the same time". It would only be annoying if it didn't matter to patients and their doctors that tn literature is so outdated and inaccurate. That has repercussions on real people, poor diagnosis, that feeling of frustration you get when you tell the doctor what hurts and how and the doctor just looks at you like you're crazy.

And here's a bushel of sympathy from another sufferer with a horrid cold that only aggravates tn. Bet there are a lot of us out here at this time of the year - so go have a nice hot cup of tea/cocoa/hot toddy or whatever does the trick - hugs, Nancy
