I wanted to say that it is possible if you dont find neurontin to work the doctor can try other medication like tregretol or heck there is many medications that help. so do not give up your doctor and you will find the right ones that work best for you. it may be just a matter of a higher doseage now that your body is adjusting to the med.
worring about assessment and disability is probly stressing you out and making pain too. I say you did your assessment and now it is out of your hands and you shouldnt worry about things you have no controll over... it will fall back in your hands soon enough and I pray it good news that you have
eligible for disability support pension . and really that is nothing to throw a party over. so magea hugs
and I have you in my prayers .
not feeling well myself i will chat with you again soon.
Peace
BMW

(except for myself) perhaps when i get the results i might settle down a little, i go back to the neuro on the 10th of april so i will chat to him about it then! it is realy nice to have someone to talk to that understands how i am feeling. I am sorry you aren't feeling to good either!! wishes of low pain for you too!!!

Hi Melissa,
I totally agree with what BMW typed about the stress of things adding to our pain. I've been on neurontin for 7 of my 11 yrs of having TN. I've had to adjust amounts from time to time, but as others have said..what works for one, might not work for another. The most important thing is that we have to just pray and pray again. Then realize that the stress of worrying contributes big time to out pain level and just "take a chill pill" as family sometimes tells me..realizing that if I don't calm down at that moment, I'll end up with lots more pain later in that day.
Hugs and prayers for you that you may soon find meds that ease your level of pain a bit more.
