Default Progesterone

Hi there,

So, I was reading the other day that progesterone is a "great" hormone with very good properties...

and, I started to think... How can I raise my progesterone level ?? any natural way ?? any food ? vitamins ? supplements... ?

I tried to find info on the web, but to be honest, I got confused....

Thank you !!!

Apparently Chaste Berry does help raise it and normalize a hormone imbalance.

Have you tested low in progeterone?

Should get it tested before treating.

Its more about the ratio between the two.

You know you can be low in estrogen but still be estrogen dominant b/c progesterone is low.

Test estrogen levels on day 3 of cycle and progesterone on day 21.

Anyone taking oral contraceptives, would not test accurately for progesterone levels.

In a young woman suspecting low progesterone, there could be heavy periods, long periods, and more frequent time intervals than the standard average of 28 days.

A low progesterone level usually implies an infertile cycle, with no corpus luteum forming after ovulation.

This is best discussed with your doctor, Blue.

Thank you Shelley and MrsD for all your help !!!

I was so confused...

It is clear now...

Yes, I suspect low progesterone... my cycle is taking more than 30 days to arrive...

Is it, very dangerous to be estrogen dominant ?? I have read horrible things... Im so worried !!
